Pesante sconfitta all'esordio al "torneo della cavina" per il San Francesco.
La squadra, scesa in campo decimata dalle importanti assenze (il bomber Pondro, Zac, Baruz, Lucani e Bertone), non ha potuto fare di meglio contro una delle favorite del torneo (tra gli altri Mantosia e Longari che fanno parte della rosa dell'OMGM, principale squadra di calcio a 5 di Imola che partecipa al campionato di A2).
Il gioco ovviamente è stato sempre in mano della Carrozzeria Santerno, abile nel fare girare la palla e a sfruttare i tagli dei propri giocatori e le conclusioni da fuori. Dal canto suo, il San Francesco ha cercato di chiudersi il più possibile in difesa per poi sfruttare le ripartenze di Zaccone (rinforzo tesserato apposta per questo torneo) e del giovanissimo R.Fustini.
Il primo tempo si è chiuso 4-o per la Carrozzeria Santerno, ma anche il San Francesco non ha demeritato, sbagliando in un paio di occasioni il goal che sarebbe stato il giusto premio alla prestazione della squadra.
Nel secondo tempo il copione non è cambiato, con la Carrozzeria Santerno sempre a fare il gioco e il San Francesco che ha incominciato a pagare la stanchezza e la non perfetta forma fisica di alcuni dei suoi giocatori. Sul 6-o, un lampo di Zaccone (generosa la sua prestazione) ha permesso al San Francesco di trovare il meritato goal, che sono diventati 2 quando capitan M.Fustini ha segnato su punizione il provvisorio 2-9. Da applausi l'azione che ha portato al 10°goal della Carrozzeria Santerno.
Nonostante la pesante sconfitta, il San Francesco può ancora giocarsi il passaggio del turno, a patto che recuperi alcuni uomini importanti assenti nella prima partita.
